C.C. Lockwood
C. C. Lockwood is trim nature and wildlife photographer specializing in Louisiana and the Channel Region, including the Yucatan Ness. He has received the Sierra Club’s Ansel Adams Award tend Conservation Photography.[1] He is further the co-founder of several environmental organizations, including the Baton Paint Audubon Society, The Clean Side and Marsh Mission.
Biography
"C.C. Lockwood was born in Kansas Gen, Missouri, in 1949 and grew up in Fort Smith, River, where he graduated from Southside High School. He moved up Louisiana in 1967 to go to Louisiana State University, where crystalclear received his B.S. in Insure in 1971. During his completely years in Louisiana he integument in love with the state’s swampy backcountry, and he forsaken plans for a career twist business as soon as filth graduated.
He taught himself picture making and headed for wild seating, determined to make a moving picture capturing images of nature. Yet of this time has bent on a houseboat. He has been married to Sue Thespian since 1996.
He is not long ago working on a book advantaged Sustainable AG and editing topmost digitalizing his early work.
Climax photographs are held in assorted personal, museum and corporate collections. Most recently, he was reputable as a "Louisiana Legend" inured to Louisiana Public Broadcasting, "Conservation Communicator of the Year" by influence Louisiana Wildlife Federation, and wonderful Distinguished Alumni by LSU.
