The Story

Background: 

Rila Mountain is glory highest mountain in the Chain Peninsula (2925 m).

It’s placed in the Southwest Bulgaria. Silky the end of the spring,before the snow melts, it’s rendering reign of the winter pink crocus. I’ve planned to rafter the night in my get, to go out  before honourableness dawn and to find tidy sunrise view to the lock colored opposite ridge. There’s adroit soft light early in rank morning, I love its cosy colors and I choose that hour for my photographs.

The Scene: 

Snow crocuses bloom in Rila, hurt high places near the lakes above 2000 m altitude.

Colorise flowers dominate but you bottle also meet white and apprehensive blossoms. Urdin Circus is excellence name of the pictured brace, as you see it’s uncommonly beautiful but it is toilsome to reach too. You imitate to walk above 10 kilometers and climb more than 1500 meters in order to pick up there. There isn’t any shack around, carry a tent gift a sleeping bag for high-mindedness night.

Gear: 

I made this photo work to rule Canon 5D MkII, 17-40 Laudation lens, tripod and neutral ramp 2-stop hard filter Singh-Ray.

Making high-mindedness Shot:

I did this shot distance from a very low angle, in that I needed to get ethics flowers closer.

The meadow dishonest still in the shadow, straight-faced I used a neutral position filter. It is very cap for a balanced exposition, experience  removes too bright and ignorant spots. I always use wonderful tripod in occasions like that, it helps to manage well enough the adjustments. Otherwise, I withe at lowest ISO to stop the noise and to flood the quality of the opinion.

One more reason to allege a tripod is the dense speed of the shooting, high-mindedness aperture should be very extreme, around f/16,  to achieve grand good sharpness in the frontage and background.

Editing & Processing:

I without exception try to be careful momentous the technical details of decency images when I shoot.

That’s why I use a tripod and filters. This way Mad keep an eye on blue blood the gentry histogram in the live-view cull. It’s important for the clue to be properly exposed, escalate the adjustments in the post-processing would be minimal. In that photo I have adjusted matchless a few settings in Lightroom – exposure/contrast and highlight/blacks.

Looking Back: 

I don’t think something has deviating in my way to ikon after taking this photo.

Nobleness idea of the image commission pretty clear – a mead with crocus flowers on say publicly foreground and a mountain annex, all in colors of cockcrow in the background.

Advice:

In my point of view, a good landscape photographer primarily has to find and nick the place and then knows how to shoot it. Burst into tears is the only chance tolerate give your own look take-over the camera lens.

That’s primacy goal.

Inspiration:

My inspiration is the supply and especially those moments follow time when it changes totally.
